UniSlope® 4K Range

Unislope Linear Centre Drain Wet Room Kits

The Unislope® 4K is a linear drain kit that can be placed centrally in a wet room.

Each kit contains the components you will need; the drain in the style of size of your choice, a preformed drain board and the waterproofing system.

What is the UniSlope 4K and how does a centre floor linear drain work?

The UniSlope® 4K Linear Centre Drain Wet Room Kit uses four preformed gradient boards that fall towards a centrally positioned linear drain, rather than directing water to a wall-mounted outlet. This configuration is designed for open-plan and island-style wet rooms where unrestricted access and complete design flexibility are priorities.

Each kit includes the pressed stainless steel linear drain, four precision-cut UniSlope boards with integrated falls, and the complete waterproofing system for a streamlined installation.

Can the UniSlope 4K provide four-sided level access for open-plan luxury wet rooms?

Yes. The UniSlope 4K is specifically designed to provide level access from all four sides. With four preformed falls converging on a centrally positioned linear drain, it is ideally suited to open-plan luxury wet rooms where unrestricted movement and a seamless floor finish are desired, without requiring a raised shower tray or threshold.

Can the UniSlope 4K be used for a centrally positioned shower area?

Yes. The UniSlope 4K is designed for wet room layouts that use a centrally positioned linear drain, allowing the floor to fall evenly from all four sides towards the drain.

With the linear drain positioned centrally and preformed falls approaching from all four directions, it allows the showering area to remain completely open, making it ideal for contemporary bathrooms with freestanding fixtures and uninterrupted floor finishes.

Can the UniSlope 4K achieve ultra-low profile installations in luxury retrofits?

Yes. With an installation depth of just 64mm, the UniSlope 4K can often be specified for high-end refurbishment projects where floor build-up is limited. This makes it easier to create contemporary, level-access wet rooms within existing buildings without the depth typically associated with traditional screeded systems.

Does the UniSlope 4K work on both timber and concrete floors?

Yes. The UniSlope 4K is suitable for installation on both timber and concrete floor structures, making it suitable for both new-build projects and refurbishment work. As with any wet room installation, the subfloor should be structurally sound and correctly prepared before the preformed boards and waterproofing system are installed to ensure a durable, watertight finish.

What tile sizes are compatible with the UniSlope 4K centre drain?

The UniSlope 4K is compatible with both small- and large-format floor tiles, giving designers and homeowners greater freedom when creating contemporary wet rooms. The preformed falls are designed to accommodate a wide range of tile sizes, although larger tiles may require additional cutting around the central drain to achieve a neat finish. As with any wet room installation, the chosen tile format should be suitable for the floor gradients and installed in accordance with the tile manufacturer's recommendations.

What drainage flow rate does the UniSlope 4K deliver?

The UniSlope 4K delivers a drainage flow rate of up to 90 litres per minute, making it suitable for the vast majority of domestic shower installations, including many high-flow shower systems when correctly specified.

Is the UniSlope 4K compatible with underfloor heating and premium waterproofing?

The UniSlope 4K includes its own approved waterproofing system, comprising a solvent-free, paint-on membrane that cures to form a continuous, flexible waterproof barrier. It can also be incorporated into many wet room floors with underfloor heating, although compatibility will depend on the heating system and floor build-up being used. Where underfloor heating is being specified, the installation should be planned in accordance with both the heating manufacturer's guidance and the UniSlope installation instructions. If you're unsure, our technical team can advise on the most suitable specification.

What drain finishes are available for the UniSlope 4K?

The UniSlope 4K is available with a choice of premium drain finishes, including brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel and durable PVD-coated colour options. These finishes are designed to resist fading and tarnishing while allowing the drain to complement a wide range of contemporary bathroom designs.

Why would I choose a centre drain wet room instead of a wall-mounted drain?

A centre drain wet room is often chosen where the design calls for a completely open showering area with access from multiple directions. Unlike a wall-mounted drain, which creates a single-direction floor fall, a centre drain allows the floor to slope in from all four sides. This makes it particularly well suited to open-plan bathrooms, island-style shower layouts and luxury wet rooms where symmetry, uninterrupted floor finishes and flexible access are key design priorities.
