The internal channel of the vinyl wet room drain stops the build-up of stagnant water, helping to prevent foul odours in your wet room. A 50mm water seal also aids to prevent bacteria from forming within the drain, whilst also complying with EN 1253.
Waterproofing is unnecessary beneath the drain. However, we recommend you waterproof your walls LIP VS30. This easy-to-apply, paint-on liquid waterproofing membrane is designed to stretch and move with your building, so you need not worry about shifts in construction. The membrane is 100% waterproof and dries as one continuous sheet. Tested to international standards – ETAG 022-1 certified and very low emissions – EC1 Plus approved.
The vinyl wet room drain cover is designed for installation away from the wall and has four large horizontal flanges. This allows for safe and secure installation and helps bond vinyl onto the drain body.
With a standard outlet of 54l/min, the Unidrain Vinyl Classicline can also be provided with a range of outlets from 32l/min to 102l/min for a range of wet room projects. The easy-to-remove grate allows for painless cleaning and maintenance of the drain and outlets.
The Unidrain Vinyl Classicline comes with a unique frame to clamp onto the vinyl without the use of visible screws and other fittings.
