Black and white décor

Minimalism is the way to go for achieving the perfect Scandinavian-inspired bathroom and wet room design. What better way to create this look than by introducing some black and white elements for a refreshing, monochrome effect! This black wooden ladder is the perfect bathroom accessory for both hanging towels and storing cosmetics. Incorporate a white bath with gold features to add a splash of colour. Finish off the look with a black framed mirror for a truly inspirational Scandinavian-style bathroom. Less really is more!

Marble accents

Subtle marble accents are the ultimate in Scandinavian-inspired bathroom trends. They are a great way to refresh and brighten up your space. Marble accents are also the perfect bathroom feature to add a hint of luxury and sophistication. Even the most understated of marble additions will guarantee that wow factor every time you or your guests step into the bathroom. Check out this fabulous Italian Circle Mirror by Armando Bruno. It will be sure to add a touch of elegance and style to even the most simple of bathrooms.

Colourful textiles

2016 is all about glorious shades and lots of colour! Brighten up your bathroom space with something as subtle as a coral or dusty pink towel. Or make a more dramatic statement with a bright lively feature wall! Take some inspiration from this multi-coloured hexagonal tiled wall. Finish off your bathroom look with more toned down yet eye-catching features such as a wooden vanity top! Create practical yet clever storage space with an extra shelf under the sink.

Metal finishes

Metal trends show no sign of slowing down in 2016! For the savvy forward-thinking bathroom enthusiast, this look will be sure to turn heads and get people talking! And for all the right reasons!! To create a cool contemporary Scandinavian look why not opt for a brushed stainless steel panel. This look is uber stylish and exudes clean lines and is the ultimate in modern bathroom trends. Team it up with metal hardware and large black tiles for a super refreshing Scandinavian Walk in Shower look!

Textured elements

Add something a little different to your Scandinavian-inspired bathroom with textured elements. A brick wall, a concrete sink or antique wooden floorboards will be sure to add an element of surprise to your bathroom. Make a bold statement with wallpaper designs or all the must-have bathroom accessories! Textured elements will turn even the smallest of bathrooms into a modern space. With so many styles, design variations and plenty of inspiration to choose from, there is something to suit every budget!
