Wetroom Installation

Having a wetroom in your home is an exciting process and offers many benefits. You can be flexible and creative with the design and features of the room and transform even small bathrooms into a well utilised and modern space. The installation of a wetroom can be somewhat complicated and fitting a wetroom correctly is a vital part of the process. It is definitely something that is best left to the professionals to ensure it is done correctly.

Fitting a Wetroom

Making sure your wetroom is correctly fitted is vital in avoiding property damage, leakages and additional costs. You will need a wetroom fitter to waterproof the room as if this is not done properly water could leak through the ceiling causing damage to your home. To ensure the wet room drain is installed correctly and that the water is flowing down the drain you need to insert a gradient as well as waterproofing the whole bathroom and tiling the room. These are difficult things to do if you don’t have any experience or skills. It could also cost you a lot of money to source the correct materials for the job.

Why hire a professional to install your wetroom?

It is worth investing in the installation process and hiring a wet room specialist to carry out the installation. This will save costs down the line and ensure your room is built to last. They will also have the necessary skills, experience and qualifications to ensure your wet room is built to a high standard.

As wetrooms are becoming increasingly popular, builders are becoming more familiar with the level of preparation required. However, due to the complexities of installation, many contactors remain reluctant to perform this type of job. Ensuring your wetroom is installed by a wet room expert is the only way to ensure lasting results.
